The City of Bellbrook, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Firefighter/Paramedic. Duties include fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue and disaster assistance.
The Bellbrook Fire Department is a combination Fire and EMS department with full time and part time staff. The department serves a community of 7,000 residents from two fire stations.
At the time of application, the applicant must provide copies of the following current certifications:
(1)Firefighter II State of Ohio, (2) EMT-Paramedic, (3)Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, (4)Hazardous Materials Operation, (5)CPR card, (6) NIMS ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-800 and IS-700 training certificates, (7) A certificate dated 3/23/17 or newer from Kettering Sports Medicine or a CPAT Certificate, (8) Valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable under the city's vehicle insurance plan, (9) High school diploma or equivalent.
Ohio Fire, EMS and/or CPR instructor certificates are preferred.
Starting pay rate is $20.39 per hour.
