All public buildings are closed to the public until further notice. This will be reevaluated June 1st.

All City Council and Board meetings are being held virtually until further notice. City Council meetings can be viewed live on our YouTube channel and on our public access cable channel.

City Services

Given all of the current circumstances and guidance being passed down from federal and state leaders, the City of Bellbrook is working to adhere to those while continuing to deliver all of the essential services to citizens.

At this time, the City has restricted only essential employees to report to work and those able to work remotely to do so. All non-essential employees are on call.

All essential City services will continue with some changes to operations:

  • Public buildings including City Hall, Service, Fire and Police offices will be closed to the public. All routine response will continue and each building has specific instructions for contacting personnel in addition to the contact information below.
  • Emergency personnel including police, fire and service can be contacted by call box located in the foyer area of the front entrance of the city building.
  • Non-emergency personal face to face service will be discontinued until further notice. Business will be continued to be carried out by phone, email and internet methods.
  • Most permits will still be processed but we ask that only essential permits be applied for at this time. Permits can be emailed to the Planning and Zoning Assistant or dropped off in the utility drop box located at the front of the city building main entrance.
  • There will be no solicitors or special event permits issued until further notice.
  • Public records requests will still be processed but will only be available by electronic distribution at this time.
Water Disconnection to Cease Temporarily

To ensure that all citizens have necessary access to public utilities during this time of hardship, the City of Bellbrook is suspending the practice of water service disconnection for default accounts. All current balances will continue to be owed and attempts to collect will remain ongoing. Usage and consumption fees will also continue to accrue during this time and will continue to be owed by the account holder.

Customers are also encouraged to pay their utility bills online. There is no fee for online bill payment. You may make an online payment by CLICKING HERE

There is also a utility payment drop box located at the front of the City building located at 15 East Franklin Street.

Closures and Event Cancellations

Effective immediately, and until further notice, the Bellbrook Historical Museum will be closed.

Any events that were previously scheduled are cancelled until further notice including but not limited to:

  • CPR and car seat classes hosted by the Fire Department
  • Police Department Neighborhood Walks

Future closures and cancellations will be assessed and communicated accordingly.
