On November 4, 2008, the formation of a Merger
Study Commission was approved by the voters of both the
City of Bellbrook and Sugarcreek Township.
This Merger Study Commission is comprised of ten
individuals (five are residents of the City of
Bellbrook and five are residents of Sugarcreek
Township). The Merger
Study Commission was formed
according to the provisions of Chapter 709 of the
Ohio Revised Code. Since December 2008, the
Merger Study Commission has met on a regular basis to
perform their required duties. Generally, the
meetings of the Merger Study Commission are held on the
first Wednesday of each month. The meetings
are held at the Sugarcreek Township Administrative
Offices located at 2090 Ferry Road, Bellbrook, Ohio
45305.
